Erin is now posting her book designs on Flickr. The collection is impressive and exhibits the depth of her book-binding talents. I’ve been jealous of her execution skills (among other things) since day one and I have met few artists with superior craftsmanship (Kris Kuksi comes to mind, but I’m pretty sure he’s a robot and doesn’t count). Erinzam has created a series of books from recycled packaging. This one is from an upcycled cardboard tray. I like how the pages vary in height. Go get it before it biodegrades.

I’m a big fan of geography so I was thrilled the day my wife and I discovered a bunch of vintage wall maps left for dead in our university’s dumpster. We quickly gathered up about a dozens of our favorites and stockpiled them in our studio. Recently my wife has transformed sections of the maps into a series of beautiful journals.
