Studiobenben is the multidisciplinary design studio of Ben Schlitter, an award winning designer, illustrator and painter. When getting his hands dirty Ben works mainly in acrylic and collage. He also enjoys creating illustrations and designing print, interactive, and motion graphics projects.

In February, Katerina Oshemkova, from the Ukrainian magazine Salon contacted me in regards to featuring my Geography + Information Postcards. I had not heard of this magazine but it looked interesting so I sent all the information she requested. Today the magazine arrived complete with a nice feature on the postcards. As excited as I was about the publication, I found the stamp drenched mailer a work in itself: 54 stamps and a flurry of cancellation marks adorn its cover. A special thanks goes out to Salon magazine and the individual who so neatly tacked 37.55 hryven’ to expedite its delivery.

The creative gurus over at Coudal are hosting a Swap Meat; send them something you’ve made and in return receive some goodies of roughly equal value. I submitted my Geo + Info Postcards and they were kind enough to post them on the swapped items page. If you have something to send (and you should) fill up on the details here.

New projects, illustrations and more.

The concept for the site is based around the idea of adding more stickers to the space boy illustration as I explore more space as a designer. Space in this case being a page layout or the distance between pixels on the screen. Enjoy.
